Single Sign-On (SSO) is a key authentication solution that strengthens security and increases user satisfaction through single-login access to many applications. It eliminates password fatigue, minimizes security threats such as phishing and credential stuffing, and simplifies IT management. Organizations are rewarded with centralized identity control, improved compliance, and reduced support costs. SSO, however, can be a security risk if managed incorrectly. In order to manage the risks, companies need to adopt Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), zero-trust security architectures, and employ real-time monitoring to identify and respond against unauthorized accesses in an efficient manner.
